Finally—the best technology and the best fit for women
“I was so sick of having to live with waders that were awkward, uncomfortable, and not sexy”, says Christine Penn of the Orvis Rod & Tackle team. So she got together with Tim Daughton, the wader developer for Orvis, two women’s technical design specialists, and 20 different female anglers in sizes from XS petite to XL regular. They went through eight complete fit trials, which took over a year. They completely redesigned the Orvis wader fit specs, and then constructed the waders from Orvis’ top technology, Silver Sonic. Finally, women can not only enjoy the comfort and toughness of Orvis Sonic Seam technology—they can also ensure that Orvis will have their size. The best technology and the best fit will ensure many more happy anglers on the stream this year.
