“Slinky Flash and Slinky Fiber is the first synthetic substitute for Bucktail I’ve tried that I really like. I use it alone or I use it in combination with real bucktail. This material comes in a variety of great colors and it doesn’t “rat nest” up after a few fish have chewed on it like so many other synthetic fibers do – no take your fly to the dog groomer after every other fish or so.
