* MERGANSER OUTFITTERS Five Dot Reservoir: MERGANSER OUTFITTERS is the sole booking agent for the largest private flyfishing catch and release lake in the West. Five Dot totals 400 surface acres when full and offers a unique strain of Mad River Steelhead/Donaldson rainbow hybrid trout averaging 6 pounds, with some individual fish reaching 15 pounds. This venue opens in mid-April and will remain open through June. Five Dot will be closed during July, August and half of September. Re-opening will be scheduled for mid-September and the fall session will run through October.
