| Noel, What a great catch!!!! I just got back from my annual trip to the Delta and we did catch some nice fish, but nothing like that. We were in a back slough and saw a huge Striper come out from under a tree, broke water for 12 feet with it's mouth open and half of it's body(the top half) chasing prey. Looked, according to the size of the mouth open, to be over 20lbs. Coolest thing I have seen!! So we have talked about throwing surface flys but haven't figured out a line that would not wear u out? Any suggestions or do I just have to buck up and throw a regular dry line? I appreciate your input. Blacky |
