It is free and already installed on your computer!(if you use Windows)

Using a Windows operating system,

open the pic you wish to resize,

click the "right" mouse button and a drop down menu will appear,

select "send to"

select "mail reciepient"

another pop up dialog box will open called "send picture via email" and it will ask if you want to "make all my pictures smaller" or "keep the original size". In the lower left corner of that box is another choice which says "show more options". The default choice is "make all my pictures smaller" , left click "ok".

It will open your email program, and just email the pictures to yourself!

When the pictures come back via email, just save them to your desktop, you can rename them if you want, and then post them using the instruction here on Dan's website.

If you want to crop or edit your pictures, use the program that came with your camera or download IRFAN VIEW (freeware, highly recommended)

here is a link to another way to do it from the Microsoft website
