| Randall you can put a small razor slice in the front to hold your line but you will still step omn the line and it will fall out. I tried that but now I don't bother. I jst deal with my line when I blow it. Take care and thanks for those pictures. You can use a screw but you can also use tooth picks or pieces of thesame plastic the spikes are made of to keep the bottom from popping during agressive surf wading.
