| Jim called last year after catching that big striper on a perch fly,he was really excited. I will miss him and all of the fly fishermen from the San Lorenzo River...those that helped me so much when I started steelhead fishing in the early sixties. Gone are, Bob Evans, John Shaw, Lou Morelli, Ty Swofford, Elmer Morelli, Manny Guttierrez, and others that I can picture but can,t remember their names. Myron Gregory, George Jackson, Norman Fujimoto, all great teachers and all willing to share their experiences....I miss them all. |
