All of 2019’s newest gadgets and tools – along with dream destinations – that make fly fishing the sport it is will be on display for the first time in the Pacific Northwest at the seventh annual Lynnwood Fly Fishing Show, Feb. 16-17 in the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. S.W.
The facility, 16 miles north of downtown Seattle, will play host to a weekend potpourri of all-things-fly-fishing – for beginner to seasoned veteran – with seminars, casting demonstrations, fly-tying, destination films, Fly Fishing Film Festival and the newest tackle and clothing in a sold-out exhibition hall. There will be some 15 presentations per hour.
The show will feature a tribute ceremony to the late fly-fishing icon Bernard “Lefty” Kreh on Sat. afternoon.
Fly Fishing Show® admission is $15 for one day, $25 for two days. Children 5 and under are free as are Boy and Girl Scouts under 16 in uniform. Children 6 to 12 are $5. Active military with an ID is $10. Scouts in uniform can earn credits toward a fly-fishing merit badge.
Parking is free.
