Bait fishing anglers new to circle hooks must learn to do nothing except keep a tight line when a fish takes the bait. Dry fly anglers must resist the urge to even move the rod tip when they see a fish take a dry fly tied on a circle hook, just stand there and wait. Same goes for wet fly anglers when they feel a hit. Goes against instinct, learned behavior, and television hook sets.
