I have a Redington short stick 13 wt that is probably 2 decades old (and has glass). It is an awesome shark stick from a boat when casting distance isn't at issue and fish are in the slick. It's too heavy for dorado, and seldom sees tuna time, and doesn't cast well enough when wahoo are in play, but on occassion it also makes a decent popper back-up when the tuna are churning. It's a one piece which limits its travel opportunities so it's been an East Coast only rod for many years.
