The solution is prevention....
It is the roll cast, from the same side, every time, that creates the twist. I generally alternate the roll cast, by back handing the roll cast, every other cast, as George suggests.
You can see when the twist starts to develop, if you are off on your roll casting, and simply add the opposite roll cast to remove the twist.
It might take some practice to make this alternate roll cast simple and effective, but it is worth the effort.
For top water bugs that love to twist the line, a small 50lb. Spro swivel (or other) solves this problem.
