I know this board is geared more to the Delta and salt, but thought I'd post a little trout/steelhead action.

I fished the Lowe Sac on Tuesday and the Trinity on Wednesday with guide Dave Neal. Had an aweseom day on the Sac landing around 18 or so wild rainbows. Many in the high teens in length. All fat and sassy. Hard fighting fish. Started slow due to the rain, but the sun and the caddis came out late morning and the game was on!

Wednesday we fished DC Campground to Pidgoen. Stck a 20" hatchery fish in one hole. Stuck a nice hot fish later in the morning that took me to the backing and got off. These early season steelie will take tou to task. Rain started around 1:30 and the action dropped off significantly.

Posting a few pics and have posted more + a video clip and a fish tale on the TVFF FaceBook page:

Tight lines,
