I inherited a NorVise this year in the fall. When I opened up the box I realized that there was a piece missing so I emailed Norm. Without ever sending him a dime he dug into his box of spares and found the piece he thought I needed and sent it to me. I never even paid for shipping.
It turns out that piece did not fit my vice, so I emailed Norma and told him thanks for the valiant effort, and thought we were just both let it go. It's a week later I got another package from Norm. This time the piece was there in the correct size. What an amazing man, not only to have the engineering brain to invent such an amazing vise, but also the customer service, and pride in his work and the name on the label.
If you ever get a chance to try out a NorVise, give it a shot. It's quite an ingenious little device
