Larry and I made it out Thursday. Normal to thick fog on the way West. Make sure you keep an eye out for floating logs that are intermingled with many of the tule islands. We had a good incoming most of the day which might have helped with the Catchin' plus a not big moon. You may want to try longer slow strips (24 to 30 inches) and longer pauses (2 to 3 seconds). Water temps hit a high of 53 F and some of the places were fairly clear 3 to 4 feet vis. I changed from basic Gray to Char/White 3D Clousers and had more Stripers that liked what they were looking at. Larry started with a "Blue Gill" Stay Hungry and moved to Char/White 3 D Clousers. Total to the boat 32 a couple in the 5 pound range. Four double hook ups...Now that's more like it.....HA!!
