Arrived at my HPS at 6:30 a.m. Tide was still briskly outgoing. Saw an unusual gathering of seagulls nearby and moved closer to take a look. Stripers started busting there and for the next two hours I hooked one on nearly every cast, most in the 3-4 lb. range but also quite a few larger. Didn't have time to count how many I released, due to the frenzy, but it was a lot. Sea lions moved in and shut down the bite.

For techies: Stealth BOM 7 Wt., Nautilus reel, Rio 350 gr. Striperline, 2/0 chartreuse-over-white jighook Clouser.
