Hello again CC,
You may want to go to the Humminbird sight to get your answer on this one. I think, not sure, that linking is possible to follow a shore that is in the computers memory.
This takes an interface between the puter and I-Pilot. I have found that I am able to use the I-Pilots "features" to handle this function well enough. With the I-Pilot you can have its puter remember a track, A to B, then back from B to A. This is something I do, IF, the current or wind is not smoke'in fast. This Humminbird function comes with a price......so, I have not jumped into this interface option. I seems to me, that bumping the remote on the I-Pilot once in a while works just fine.
