Follow-up to my question below about SI fish finders

I primarily fish alone. Was wondering if you can link the SI finders to your trolling motor and whether they were smart enough to set a coarse, say 75' from shore and run you at a speed of 3 MPH? It can be tough keeping the boat in position alone, along a bank, by yourself.
