I go to the Florida Keys 2 or 3 times a year and wade for bones. I generally strip the line into the water on the retrieve and just shoot it from there on the cast. I tried a Rio OBS a couple of years ago and gave up after one outing because the running line on the OBS did not float well or pick up well on the cast. I'm sure that it works well casting from a boat, but it did not work wade fishing, at least for me. The best line I gave found for my style of wade fishing is the Rio Clouser tropical WFF line in a 10 wt (I use a 9 wt rod). Both the WF portion and the running line of the Clouser float like a cork.
