I would just like to add my condolences as well. Bill was a kind man with great skill and integrity. He did three plates for me--a pair with Ed Haas steelhead flies and a plate of Joe Kimsey Upper Sac flies. When I was coordinating with him on this, I was lucky enough to see his garage--the memorabilia in there, not just dozens of fly plates from many famous tyers, but rods and other items, was just incredible. He was such a kind and unassuming man. RIP, Bill, condolences to his wife and other loved ones.
