I have been reading and watching a good bit of info about invasive species. (Fishing for Florida Snakeheads on a topwater fly just made my hit list) But in particular, the BigHead Carp that is plaguing the Ohio River system.
Does anyone know if these things can be caught with a rod and reel? Especially a Fly Rod and Reel?
I can't seem to find anything regarding this. Everything I am seeing is about nets, archery and even spears! there seems to be a shortage of info about their biology. (Surprise) They look like they could be a gas to catch on a fly! (if it is possible).
Anyone know of someone in that area pursuing them as a game fish? with the fly?
