Hey, guys,
Thnx so much for all your ideas and suggestions. Especially Dave E! many details to work out. At present I am in the planning stages and in contact with a few companies to see about the feasibility of my pontoon design. Protos are very expensive so at the same time I am trying to work out finances as well. I am building a small scale model. Perhaps I will post some pix when it is done.

Just a few features I hope to incorporate:
1. very few parts, as few as three, for the boat. I want the boat to carry easily and assemble quickly.
2. low profile to reduce wind resistance, I hope to test the boat on SLR! I have a unique pontoon design that I hope will make the boat lower and faster.
3) adjustable for seat height and position, to compensate for the user, cargo, motors, and the like.
4) light, light, light! I am presently trying to target 30lbs as the weight of the assembled boat.

I have made a list of all your suggestions and incorporated them in my features design list. Thnx again!
