|Yesterday I fished with long time pal, Jay Remley. We had a pretty good day with more than 30 fish but only a few were legal size. Still the day was extremely enjoyable with no wind and it got pretty warm after the tule fog burned off.|
Today I fished with Binky Cassleberry, another long time pal from Santa Rosa. Binky and I had a good day, one of the best all-round in awhile. We also landed more than 30 fish with a good many 4- to 8-pounders, plus the usual amount of dinks.
The nice thing about today's fishing is that we found a few at just about every stop I made, plus a good number of fish were brand new, still showing that purple hue of salty fish.
Binky landed the best fish of the day, an 8-pounder which he took on a multi-colored Whistler. Don't ask...
Jay, Binky and I enjoyed a good pasta dinner at the Rusty Porthole this evening where we enjoyed good food, beer and old stories of shared Loreto trips and Atwin King stories. Hey, it doesn't get any better than this.
Thanks for sharing the good times guys.
