I recall when ethanol first came out there were lots of issues with clogged fuel injectors, incompatible gas tanks and lines etc. A lot of folks lobbied for pure gas and finally we got Rec 90 gas in Florida, which at first was hard to find. Now most gas stations in the Keys carry the pure gas. Maybe it is time for other states to get a little more militant and flood your state and federal representatives with requests to allow pure gas to be sold at marinas. I use Rec 90 and notice more power in my car and better gas mileage too! I stay away from ethanol in my skiff and pay the extra .50 per gallon for the “privilege”.
