Hey George - most know you are the one who introduced me to the jig hook for tying flies hook-point-up almost two decades ago now. I started with the EC 413 60 degree bend jig hook (I still use a few); but now I prefer the Targus 9413 jig hook - or more easily obtained - the Fly Shop FS 5444 (same hook). The 60 degree bend jig hook is profoundly superior to a Bend Back style hook in every way. I tie everything I can on the 60 degree bend jig hook from nymphs to bonefish flies - and almost all my baitfish patterns too.

Dan
