Headed to Hawaii, the Big Island,Kona/South Kohala in March. Dates are flexible. Are the tides a important enough factor for bonefish in this area that we should plan our trip around the best tide period, in March? What is the best tide period for this location? We'll be snorkeling & sightseeing but I plan on looking for "bones" & other species, but figure I might as well be looking for fish at the most opportune time.
