Honestly I thought it was going to be blowing like a Banshee when we got to the Forebay this morning around 9:00 a.m. The coastal overcast was tenting Morgan Hill this morning when I got up and that usually means it's a blow on the San Luis lakes.

Bob picked me up at 8 a.m. and were we surprised when we got to the FB. It was almost flat calm.

We launched and headed to one of our hot spots fishing the same T-14 lines and small FT Clouser we did so well with the last time we were able to get out. We found a few right away but we could tell they weren't there is any numbers so we started moving around. We found a bunch just outside the weed-line fronting the Tower Islands in about 12 feet of water and it was game on.

Nothing much new to tell: same lines, same flies and same retrieve. Same fish - all dinks except for a couple of legal fish. We quit around 1:30 with more than 60 to hand.

Hey, it's a grab and the weather was great and the company brilliant too.

Thanks for a fun day on the water Bob.

PS: we saw a couple of other fly-boats out too and it looked like they too were getting a few.
