I don't know about a "sturdy pole" but thick skulled might be more accurate. I just don't mind chucking big flies and the pole dancer is my favorite big striper fly. I really enjoy fishing shallow water with it out here on our delta. Have had some very memorable sessions with it.

Beau is now 15 and headed into his sophomore year in high school. He is a remarkable athlete . 6'2" 210 pounds and covers the 40 yd dash in 4.58 with size 15 cleats. Flat footed, he can jump onto a 52" tall box. He is sort of a freak and a little bit scary. Wrestling with him is getting less and less enjoyable by the minute. He will be a starter on the Jesuit High varsity squad at OLB and RB and is set to have a great season.
Barring injury, he will have a good time and should be a key to their offensive success for 2013. I worry about injury and wish it were golf he was so good at but it is what it is. I look at my own football career and know that I am much better for having played so I am hopeful he will be able to say the same.

Cheers, Chas
