Paul,

Sure sounds like a great trip. I really enjoyed the pic's. It brought to mind an experience from years ago. My old friend, Bill Rishoi, who passed a little more than a year ago, and I were young upstarts and going into our first year of high school. We rented a wood boat made by Courtney to take offshore. These boats weighed a ton and all we had were two 51/2 HP kickers between us. We strapped both engines on the back of the boat and tied a stick across the tillers and headed out the pass.

Before long we found ourselves in the middle of more albie's than we could imagine. We thought they were tuna and dang near sunk the boat stacking them on the floor. Back then catch and release wasn't on the menu. You should have heard the laughter from all the salts around the cleaning table on the docks.

Thanks for sharing and jogging my memory.
