I have not been this excited about a fly since figuring out the pole dancer. This bug will be amazing on the delta. From winter stripers where a strip and long pause ( stop and drop) is the best approach to fishing in clear shallow water in the fall with a rapid two handed approach, to finicky large mouth bass. This is really something special.
Blane told me some months ago that he caught 22 trout the very first time he fished it and some of those were trophy sized critters, 25 and 28 inch browns.
Can you imagine what a mullet colored one with a black tipped tail would do to roosters off the beach? The possibilities are endless and it is really fun to see this type of advance in our sport.
Cool stuff, Charlie
