The Spring was about as unusual weather wise as could be, cold with jackets one week turning into shorts and hot temps the next.

Our Spanish fishing has been hit or miss, mostly miss, but for the second year in a row we're getting covered up with false albacore, mostly juveniles, but some in the 10lb range.

Our 4/5/6wts are getting a workout, especially with the little albies that have put on a show in The Hook of Cape Lookout.

The 6wts got the call this morning as 20/25kts and squalls gave way around 8:30 to 12/15kts and scattered squalls, but we'll take all the wind can give us as long as no storms with names decide to visit!

Good Fishing!!!
