|The Spring was about as unusual weather wise as could be, cold with jackets one week turning into shorts and hot temps the next. |
Our Spanish fishing has been hit or miss, mostly miss, but for the second year in a row we're getting covered up with false albacore, mostly juveniles, but some in the 10lb range.
Our 4/5/6wts are getting a workout, especially with the little albies that have put on a show in The Hook of Cape Lookout.
The 6wts got the call this morning as 20/25kts and squalls gave way around 8:30 to 12/15kts and scattered squalls, but we'll take all the wind can give us as long as no storms with names decide to visit!
