|July the 4th usually sees us with reds (the fish) and blues (the fish), but the weather pattern along the East Coast has been tough for weeks, so you cast where you can when you can.|
The ponds have been giving up nice 5 & 6wt fish (to over 7lbs) and this morning while looking for blues and Spanish our buddies of the Fall started some fireworks for us early on an outgoing tide!
Small albies took the stage and we made a morning of it off Shackleford Banks before most of the "grease up, sit in the sun, and take drunk" crowd hit the beaches!
Happy 4th of July boys & girls ---- BORN IN THE USA!!!
