The "best" line for a particular rod is a highly subjective conclusion which varies widely according to the proficiency of the caster and the specific conditions in which the line and rod are being used. The weight, diameter, flexibility and coefficient of fiction of a line are objective properties which certainly influence the distance which a specific angler using a specific rod can cast. I can not imagine the objective properties which would make one line more accurate than others for a specific angler using a specific rod.
