I was in Chatham last week and I will be sending out my cape cod report tonight. We sure saw a lot of fish, including 100's of 20 pound fish on the flats. They were tough to catch for us as well. We tried many differrent flies, strips, dead drifts, etc. I am convinced they are just moving at times. When they eat, they eat stripers on the eat. We had some jump on the fly as soon as it hit the water. Others just acted like they never saw it and swam right past a fly in their face. I will say it was amazing to see so many nice fish. I still had a great time, one of my best fishing trips, it was all about quality and not quantity. I had the opportunity to cast to a #30 pound fish in 3' of water. I haven't had my heart pump like that since my last trip to Key West.
