Reality returns...last day wind 20 plus, overast, scud clouds, and big full moon tide light speed flow...very difficult to get boat wind tide aligned so I could make a shot without line being swept along like streamer fishing the Manistee, Pine or PM and carrying the fly. Very difficult to present/fish the crab naturally...had four follows but no takes...nada; however, 3 good days weather/fish out of four days were great but four previous permit trips with nada puts permit fishing in perspective at least for me. This trip was the best Permit ever...alas my stagnant 12 count was finally bumped 6 to 18. Also the most sharks I can ever recall and that's excluding the nurse sharks breeding BTW fishing west of KW saw no Tarpon rolling, saw three or four 40-60 lbs that was it but cannot comment on back country as we did not fish east. Still waiting for pics from Will Bensen
