Seems to me that "made in Korea" could be a plus rather than a minus. There's always communist red china to make lower cost stuff; but it seems you were happy with the price you paid, so then why would you say it may be overpriced ?

Everybody wants to have a big salary so they can buy lots of stuff. But then they only want stuff that is made in America by people earning high wages. Seems a disconnect to me.

The Sage 6000 and 8000 reels are excellent, both in design and manufacture, and maybe not overpriced; as a result of being "made in Korea".

PS All of my camera cases are the exact same brand, and of at least six different models. They are made(very well), in Red China, and therefore I can afford their price.

Turns out I just discovered they are designed and engineered by a company in Petaluma, CA Which explains their thoughtful design features, and the good sense of the company, to not manufacture them in staunchly anti-business California.
