What really turned me off was it is made in Korea.
I was glad I actually bought "new" 6010 on ebay at about 45% off price given that I had almost bought it at MSRP.
I am not saying the quality of made-in-Korea can be problematic, I am just saying it may be overpriced.
I am still happy to have the reel as I bought it at the right price. The reel looks really cool for me.
The drag should be fine as it was designed by Jack Charlton.
I think its feature is somewhere between Charlton and Mako as the 6000s have at least one of the two major improvement(i.e. self calibrating drag) from Charlton to Mako.
I may not set the drag often at more than "3" out of 10 dials and I believe I will never set the drag at more than 5, it may be too much for a light class tippet(12lb-16lb).
I may want the 6010 to have more granularity control on drag setting. The 8000s seem to have such a capability but they are just too big and heavy to my taste.
