Yes my point exactly. The potential for political and media based approaches is probably safer and more reliable than trying to shoot 8 guys from the hip with a fishing rod in the other hand.

Even a brown bear can move 60 feet in the time it takes you to raise aim and fire a weapon so good luck with that too. Firearms are only one aspect of a secure approach, not a surefire bet.

One of the places on the American I liked to put my pram in and fish for shad, upper sunrise, has a nice little extra gravel road to the river. I could drive down and launch the pram. Well since the bicyclists dont want to stop at the stop sign at the crossing there, they got politically organzied and had the whole gravel road shut down. At least thats what I was told by the park was the reason it was shut down. Now you can just walk in, and get mugged while the car theives fight the window smashers for the extra gear you stupidly left in your vehicle.
