Joe, I fully understand - good luck on your walleye tournament!
I got so old I had to sell my striper boat a few years ago and now blessed with private ponds - some fly fishermen don't like private water guys... *grin*

Just to understand my bass interest - we are raised on largemouth bass in Texas - I caught my first bass some 80 years ago when I was about 8 years old, fishing with worms on a cane pole ....ran out of worms and put on a berry blossom... remember like yesterday.

I have been blessed with a career that has spanned the continent from blue water offshore to remote Alaskan base camps. Bought my first fly rod in 1951 doing geologic field work in Uinta Bain Utah - fished the Green River before Flaming Gorge Resrvoir

Met a lot of fishermen of all types along the way - most good folks.
Thanks for your reply.
Very best wishes,
