There are areas up and down the caye. Our last trip there was in 2011 and we stayed at Belizean Shores . We did a combination of guided and DIY fishing as well. When on my own, I fished the flats between the docks north/south of our resort and did fair. Saw plenty of fish but they are pressured and very finicky. Think very small unweighted weedless flies 8-10. I caught half of my fish on an #8 amber bonefish bitters while targetting cruisers tight to the shore. On of the most consistent flats was that north of Journey's End. Saw some real pigs there with their noses buried down in the grass making huge clouds of muddy water. Good luck trying to get their attention. Not shockingly, incoming tide in AM low light was best.
