I am in total agreement with Bill on this. I host a group trip every year and when we go bonefishing I try to avoid the moon if possible. Sometimes we may overlap a bit on one moon or another but when leaving Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun you cannot always avoid it. If it does happen, then take that day nearer the moon to hunt for permit if the tide is high. Use it to your advantage. Do not worry about winds at all!!! Just figure it is gonna blow... I love Abaco. A wonderful fishery for sure. We are heading to Swain's Cay in Andros the last of April into early May. Another problem with the moon tides during that time of year in the Bahamas is the bibbling fish... That usually occurs on the moons and is a goofy kind sight to see. Big schools of fish dloating just under the surface. Most are very small fish. Can really mess with your bonefish temperment. Enjoy Abaco and have some conch and a Kalick
