| Greg, thanks for the excellent review. I now know that I should remove the top of the wire mechanisim and clean out the grit. I have been wearing Korkers chrome for 3 years now. Mine have the interchangeable soles and these have been a lifesaver when climbing in and out of floatplanes and rubber rafts. I carry a pair of soles with studs and those work really well on slick rocks. I have a pair of soles with the small studs and also a pair with big studs. The big ones work particularly well on algae covered cobbles. |
