The action and movement that marabou gives to a fly is incredible. However, when dry... it takes a while to get the fly wet so that it fishes correctly. This can be an issue in a sight fishing situation where there may be enough time between shots to have the fly dry out. I make sure that the fly is kept wet with frequent dunkings between shots.
