JJ,

Caution: the EC 413 hook tends to open easily. They aren't nearly as strong as the Targus or the Fly Shop hook. I tied on the EC 413 for a long time but once the Targus hook became available I stopped using them for most of my tying.

I still do use the EC 413 for shad flies and for other species that don't need a hefty hook.
