Well I didn't think you would Serge; just pointing out, that we sometimes expect more than is reasonable to expect.

I have some older metal and glass real Nikon lenses, which still take beautiful pictures, and it would take a half horsepower engine to auto-focus those if you could; which wouldn't be good for battery life. even so, I doubt they are dunkable.

I believe you too on the Pentax. I've always respected their products; I think their earlier lens mount system, versus the Nikon-F bayonet, is what neveer made me a Pentax buyer; it was never qualms about their quality or performance.
