|The annual Spinner shark migration is in full swing. I really wanted to head up there and check it out even if I’m not casting a fly just yet. Today was the first day I have the skiff back and the winds were around 20 mph which keeps me off the water. Imagine this surfer’s surprise when this circus came to town. Fishing these guys is like fishing Tarpon that have teeth. You hang a butterflied Cuda off the bow and soon enough the Spinners appear. After the take they will run a couple hundred yards. Stories from experienced anglers point to two or three such runs during the course of the battle. No one is going to ‘lip’|
these bad boys!
