Thanks Dan. Yeah it looks a lot like an Almaco but its pretty hard to decifer them. Ive read counting the fin rays is the best way but my buddy didnt get real good phoos of them. They were schooling with small YT which are unmistakable. Mr Munoz our guide said he catches them on occasion but not every year. He also told me he gets a few very Large Amberjack on the east side of Carmen from time to time.
