Can't speak much to Mexico, but here in the Middle Keys I'd vote for Wulff BT lines and the Airflo floating clear tip for when extra stealth is needed (think calm bright days on the ocean in June). For our summer junior tarpon fishery (which might be akin to the Mexico fishery) any good floating line that can load the rod fast - so you can throw immediately to visible rollers -- will do the job.
