I believe that enforcement will be more complicated by this proposal and the potential to forget to re-up will probably result in some additional fines.
I agree that the increased cost is probably for processing but i'd like to know how much that additional cost/term (annual or one-time??) will be before the bill becomes law. I can't recall whether annual fishing licenses are still issued on different colored paper or not but this could eliminate the need for that cost.
I haven't forgotten to renew in the past but with the cost of an annual license getting up there, maybe a license good for 12 months from the date of purchase is a good idea.... |
