The scenery is unbelievable, my fishing camera could not do justice to the magnificence, the fishing is fantastic, but so are the surroundings. The mountains rise almost vertically in places and there are glaciers wherever you look. The weather was great, a little cool in the morning but got warm in the afternoons. I was so overwhelmed by the salmon fishing that I did not mention the trout fishing, it is equally good. Last year my friend caught a 34Lb rainbow on a DRY fly. There is a large population of dragon flies in the lake and to watch these large trout leaping 2-3 feet to catch the flies is amazing. If the fish misses the fly a quick cast in the vicinity usually does the trick Dapping works well on breezy days.
