Hi Jim,

I'm sure you know your way around a 10 wt.

However, I think there are many tarpon, over 80 lbs., that are "not up the task" of fighting a 10 wt. for extended periods. Many anglers that I have fished with, or around, are just not skilled enough to fight a big tarpon properly, with a 10 wt.
If you can do it, and have a beefy 10 wt. that can whip a big tarpon, good on you.

I guess I don't like "going to a gunfight with a knife".
